White Clover (pink-flowered form)

The ubiquitous white clover with creeping rooting stems that most people know of from school playing fields.
If you are going for a Sunday amble along The Stray in Redcar over the summer then look out for the pink-flowered form growing near the Duke-of-Argyll’s Tea-plant where the sea defences end (nearer the road).
