Onobrychis viciifolia

A few plants of this persistent perennial grow by the side of the path that goes alongside the golf course at Coatham. The pink flowers are easy to spot, but you are likely to walk straight by if they are not in flower. They probably derive from a fodder crop here as the native form is usually more prostrate and growing in chalk turf.
