Poterium sanguisorba (syn. Sanguisorba minor)

Oh this one is great to have a quick nibble of a leaf – where after much thinking you’ll find it tastes of cucumber. The really odd thing is this used to be collected as a salad herb before we ate cucumbers…so what did it taste of then ;-)
