Pulicaria dysenterica

I love the scientific name of this cheerful yellow daisy-flowered plant. Usually found in clumps growing in damp grassy places all along the coastline.
Would it surprise you to learn that it was once used for treatment of dysentery and apparently when burnt the smoke drove away fleas?
