Photography Exhibition opening, late afternoon Sunday 25th October

We all gathered at the Palace Hub Gallery on the Esplanade, Redcar, on Sunday 25th October for the private view and the handing out of prizes for our Cleveland Coast Photography competition.

It was a great way to meet up with all the local people who had been on the guided walks with us.

Jeremy, the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust’s Chief Executive, said a few words and John, the Chairman of the Trustees, gave out the prizes after Kate had announced them.

Mark (from Palace Arts) and I (Martin) gave comments on the photos as the awards were announced, explaining what we liked about them and why they were so good.

All the photographs of the event were taken by Mark and Nel Hickson of Palace Arts and they also arranged the exhibition and printed the competition photos – a very big thank you to them.
