A pernicious weed that spreads like crazy in upland areas, costs millions to control, harbours ticks, and can cause bladder and stomach cancer in cattle that have been grazing on it. Native fern…oddly enough found at South Gare right next to the sea and then at Hummersea where it grows with bluebells.
