Anthyllis vulneraria

Clusters of small yellow pea-like flowers absolutely cover the sand dunes in places when this perennial is at its peak and it looks stunning. You can also find it scattered around old industrial places in the area (though it never looks quite as impressive when growing as scattered plants) especially if there is weathered slag around, as it likes a well-drained limy soil.
